The Department of Research and Development (R & D) at Islamabad Medical & Dental College (IMDC organized the 2nd Annual Research Conference on “Health and Wellness for all Ages” on 25th and 26th September, 2019.

The theme of the conference was based on Goal 3 (https://bit.ly/2PVUr5m) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Members in 2015. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), otherwise known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity, by addressing the global challenges we face. The conference was designed to facilitate sharing of knowledge and experience of various health related disciplines through workshops, and oral/poster presentations. The first day of the conference (25th September) was dedicated to the Pre-Conference workshops facilitated by international and national specialists in their respective fields. Oral and poster presentation competition was held on September 26, where various budding scientists and researchers presented their work related to their field of interest. Students from all medical/dental/allied health sciences colleges and universities in Pakistan and abroad were invited to participate in this academic activity.
