Managing Director's Message
I would like to express my sincere congratulations to the editorial team of “Students spectrum” on the first edition of this scientific publication. Scholarly article writing is an overwhelming task specifically for undergraduate students. To help develop and improve their writing skills, a team of faculty editors with experience provided them full support in manuscript writing. I believe that it will be a valuable addition to the scientific literature in an area not currently well-represented. This publication will provide valuable insight into the variety of patients presenting at Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital (ANTH) and will also promote scientific writings to report new advances in treatment or diagnosis.
Case reports are written with the goal of sharing information for medical, scientific, or educational purposes. They often serve as medical or even undergraduate students’ first experience with medical writing and they provide a solid foundation for manuscript preparation and publication. In the last few decades, there has been an exponential increase in medical student research, specifically in the number of manuscripts published by medical students. It is important to foster this academic spirit among students by encouraging them to become involved in research.
Writing in science is not only for communicating with others; it is also a tool for learning that supports scientists and students alike in clarifying thinking, synthesizing ideas, and coming to conclusions. I wish this scientific endeavour every success and look forward not only to finding a distinguished place in medical writing but also increasing the prestige of the institution with this academic undertaking.
